What entitlements and how to apply

hi i really need some advice i am 33, looking to go back to university to do a social work degree. I am currently doing a access to higher education course which finishes in november and dont no what id need to do next, i currently work part time 20 hours a week on a weds-friday and not sure when i would need to apply to university? what i would be entitled to as i rent and have two children, and if i need to give up my job or i keep my job and go to university? There is no timetables so i don't have any idea how this works, has anyone been in a similar situation and could offer me some advice please it would be much appreciated? Thank you

If your Access course only finishes in November, then you can apply to university for 2026 entry (most courses will start Sept 2026). You would need to submit a UCAS application by January 2026:
