All three sciences for nat 5 or physics and bio plus an out of school course

Should I take all three sciences for nat 5 in S4 or should I take nat 5 physics and biology and do a health and social care out of school course. I don't know which is better for studying medicine at university. Thanks!!

I personally would take bio and Chem for Nat five and the health and social care as most medicine courses I’ve seen only need two sciences at higher but require a LOT of healthcare experience, so anything you can do to get experience is great. However, if you think you’d enjoy all three sciences, then there’s always a chance to do even higher level health and social care college courses you could do in S5&6 or you could gain experience out of school. Also the S4 level health and social care courses probably don’t include much (if any) direct patient contact so universities might prefer if you get the 3 sciences at Nat five and then do a healthcare foundation apprentice as one of your S6 subjects which include placements. So there’s lots of different options, hope you make a decision ok!

Def take chem and bio bc you’ll need them at AH for medicine I think. But I took physics at nat 5 and higher and it was super useful in chem and bio at H and AH, because some of the topics that you do in physics get repeated in those subjects so it made them so much easier for me since I already knew all the physics stuff

CHEMISTRY AND BIOLOGY!!!!!! they are required for higher and advanced highers, I say physics isn’t that important for medicine too much as most of my friends who have applied to medicine have got done biology and chemistry and never touched physics.
