UEA psychology

anyone who is studying psychology at UEA could you tell me how it is.
Hello @charlietvdddd,

While I do not study psychology, I have heard some amazing things from students who do. The lectures are dedicated and have their own ongoing research that can provide lots of useful information. The course itself has been ranked 14th overall for research quality.

Did you want to specialise in anything particular ? As you progress in your studies, there will be more opportunities to specialise, with modules tailored to your interests. We also have lots of dynamic laboratories. For instance, our UEA Development laboratory that researches how children learn, think and pay attention in the early stages.

Have you had a chance to look at the modules, if not here is a link to the course https://www.uea.ac.uk/course/undergraduate/bsc-psychology.

In terms of assessments, in your final year your assessments will include a research project (which is 33% of your grade) and assessments linked to your module choices. These could be in forms of a research proposal, a briefing paper, an essay, or an examination. There is also the opportunity to do a year abroad or a placement year!

If you have any more questions, I would head over to Unibuddy and chat to one of our current students or you can visit our campus and speak to our teachers.

All the best,
UEA REP Tiffany
