a-level revision resources / tips needed 🥹

hi guys! i'm in year 12 and am currently in need of all the help i can get for my upcoming as-level exams (which start from may onwards), and i want to know all the revision resources and hacks/tips people who've already done these exams and got extremely good results because i'm aiming for at the very least AAB's.. i study bio, chem and psychology (all wjec boards) as well as welsh baccalaureate and gcse maths (that i'm resitting). i'd love to know your study schedules and how you tackled hard topics (esp for bio, chem and psych) too please! i really liked cognito as a resource back then for gcse's but they don't do many video explanations for a-level topics so if there are any resources/youtube channels that do similar understandable ones, please please pleaseeee let me know!! thank you so much~

Hii! Same for me I'm doing chem, bio maths and psych all from WJEC as well (although I might drop psych in year 13). Personally, for biology it's a lot of content so I prefer to have flashcards to memorise the info first and then go over past paper questions to test my application skills and wording. Chemistry is a lot more difficult and my teacher is going rlly slow so we haven't even covered a lot, but I tend to do calculations and past paper questions. Psychology it's more of learning case studies and doing the evaluate and describe questions (even better if you do them timed)! For online revision there's free science lessons or the blended learning page on the WJEC exam website - which I love
Another good gcse maths page is corbettmaths cause he has worksheets and a video explanation
Hope this helps and good luck with ur exams! xx

hi! i'm also in y12 and do bio, chem, psych. i agree cognito was very useful in GCSE and although they don't do videos for a level science they do have a revision website that has revision notes, quizzes, flashcards and past papers (divided by paper and by topic) and this is my main revision resource for bio and chem. the only thing is you do have to pay for it. but physics and maths tutor (PMT) is free and basically has all the same things above including psych. for all three subjects the statically most efficient revision method is just exam questions really.
p.s. i did my gcse maths edexel higher and got grade 9 and literally the only revision method i used was past papers. PAST! PAPERS! TRUST ME.

hope u find the best method for u and remember you've still got a lot of time to experiment with different methods. best of luck and hope we both get through this!!
