I think I was being followed

I think I was being followed home yesterday but I’m not sure sure so I’m asking you guys what you guys think about this. After school I was walking home and my friend came my way only to drop me off near my house so we could talk on the walk to my area, and I noticed a guy behind us walking slowly so we let him go in front because we were also walking in a slow speed so we thought he would want to go in front, we stopped by to take a picture and he had no choice but to go in front of us anyway, so he was in front of us, then he randomly stopped and looked back then he tied his laces so we walked in front of him again, then their where two paths and we took the path I normally go in and he was kind of far back but we could see him and he went the same path as us, then my friend noticed this guy has been behind us the whole time and when we looked back at him he looked shy and suspicious idk, so we got freaked out and went a different way, and he took a different path but it lead to the same place we were off to and when we saw him again he looked at us and turned around and walked our way again, can’t tell if he was lost or following us or what

I believe he was following you. If it happened at night,I'll advise you try going home on time. Best of luck and stay safe.

Report it to the police. They may have other information about this guy that points to a pattern of suspicious behaviour; if not, at least you've done something . Better safe than sorry!
