Ever met a celebrity?!

If so, who was it, how long ago, in what context, and if no, who would u like to meet?!
I used to be a comic con organiser, so yes, a great many of them.

Who?!

God... loads.

A few Dr Whos
A couple of Darth Vaders and many other SW actors
Lots of Game of Thrones actors
Red Dwarf actors
Plenty more from various things.

Patricia Quinn was probably the most dramatic actor I've met.

Outside of comic cons, David Batty used to live 2 doors from me when I was a kid.

I've also met Jimmy Savile a few times as I lived near him when I got my first house. Probably not the best claim to fame that one.

I met benson boone after is concert twice, and he was so sweet. I got a photo with him and he hugged me and it was amazing and I got to talk to him too.
Yes, I did. Last year in theatre in Hamburg. Got even a selfie. One of the best things happened in my life.

I met David Prowse at a movie event we did where I used to work, almost met Warwick Davies but was working so I missed him. I met Danny John Jules at Comic con at the NEC. I went to a book signing at Headingly where I met Kevin Sinfield and Rob Burrow. I met Chesney Hawkes when he performed at my uni. I met Kevin 'Bloody' Wilson after a show of his in Plymouth. There may be more but I have forgotten them.

I used to DJ at my University, so I had met and worked with several at that time. Does a gentleman tell all?

I got a photo with Noel Fielding at an art gallery he was opening. I also saw Nigel Farage in public once, but I'm not sure that counts.

My dad lived near and met Ronnie Corbett, who in real life was an a-hole, he said. My father also said he met Vladimir Putin, but like most things he said when he was drunk, there is an even chance that he was lying or telling the truth. I have no proof for or against.

Dave Prowse wanted me to give him my phone number and made me sit on his knee. I was sat opposite him for an entire weekend (I was signing my books) and apparently he took a liking to me.
Friendly guy. Maybe a bit too friendly.

I'm gonna move this thread to Chat. It doesn't have much to do with Relationships.

Got a photo with Carl Froch almost 2 years ago, one of my most memorable moments in life.

Also walked past Warwick Davis but didn't want to disturb him.

Good decision. I thought the same. Does it count when I have met celebrities live on stage in a TV show? even if I was among spectators?
