What end date and qualifications to put for current degree on UCAS

Hi all,

I'm currently a 2nd year student, i'm planning on applying on UCAS for other courses, when filling out the education tab on UCAS what end date should I say for my current degree? The date it would end if I finished it or the date I suspended my studies which would be this month? Also, What should I put for qualifications for it as I haven't achieved the degree obviously but I still passed all the 1st year modules and would like those to be shown on my application.

Thanks

Hi, for the end date you put down the date you’d finish the degree if you were continuing at your current Uni. For the qualifications you put down all the modules you did in the first year and for those this year but if you haven’t got the grades for those yet you can just put them as pending. Hope this helps

Thanks, so for the qualification date I would just put 05/2027 and for "Class" put pending? then just list my modules below right?

I’m not sure what you mean by class but you put your institution name first, the title of your degree, the awarding organisation (your uni), and the results you received, if you don’t know some of the results for your modules just put as pending

Hi, admissions staff here.

For the end date you need to put your actual leaving date, (or expected leaving date if you take up a place elsewhere), not a hypothetical end of degree date, (because otherwise it's not super clear what you are planning to do).

You won't have space to enter many of your module results. I would suggest entering your overall average weighted mark. The unis you apply to will request your interim transcript if they need it.

I've changed it now to having only the uni I attended and what dates I was there and did not include the degree as a qualification from the uni as I never actually achieved it, so the modules I completed in 1st year are not added as there is nowhere to add them. Should I include info about the modules I done and what degree I was on previously on my personal statement as the modules I completed and relevent to what i'm applying for.

You need to add your degree study as a qualification. Use Other and write in the details. There’s an example on the university transfer faq
The worked example of how to enter it mentioned by PQ is here:

NB. I'm not sure how many module results it will let you enter this way.

I need to update this with new screenshots at some point.

I need to update this with new screenshots at some point.

After 12 years, it looks like UCAS won’t be preparing their own example.

Screenshot 2025-12-04 at 23.52.52.png I am a first year BDS dentistry student and I am applying on UCAS as I want to leave and enter a different undergraduate course at a different uni. I have already put in the University of Manchester in the education section and I put the exit date as the date I will leave for the different course. But what do I put for the qualification section for example what do I put for the qualification date (The only two options are 2025 and 2026 despite the degree finishing in 2030) also what do I put for class (Because dentistry doesn't have this, it's just pass or fail basically). Would love your help.
