I hope you are well. I don't study nursing myself, but ARU has some great videos on its YouTube channel with other interview tips for similar healthcare courses.

Hiya!
I am a second year nursing student at ARU.
I did my interview for nursing, at ARU, in December 2022. I got asked why I wanted to do nursing and why I chose childrens nursing specifically. I also got asked scenario based questions, such as being asked what I would do if I had a SEN patient that required treatment but could not consent. They also asked me what experience I have and what qualifications I already have that are linked to the degree, for example I was doing a level three extended diploma in health and social care and I also already had a level two in child development. They asked me why it was that I chose ARU.
A piece of advice is to prepare your own questions as well. When they ask you at the end of the interview if you have any questions, always say yes and ask some questions as it shows that you are interested and committed.
