Opening a student bank account

When should I be looking to open a Student Bank Account? Do banks only have offers at certain times of the year or can I open one now?

I've already got my 16-digit UCAS code so some banks are letting me apply already.

Depends on the bank. Most want you to be a confirmed student before they let you apply for their account

I think NatWest lets me apply because I have the 16-digit UCAS code already, but it looks like none of the banks have good offers at the minute so it might be worth waiting?

Sounds sensible.

If you are starting uni in September, then wait until August. That's when the majority of students will be able to apply so the new offers will be out then. Keep an eye on the following web page:
