Has anyone done the RS short course? Advice needed for long mark answers.

If so, do you have any tips on how to write the 12 mark/15 mark answers? I'm scoring half marks at the moment which is annoying as I put lots of quotes in and have a clear structure. I'm doing Christianity & Islam beliefs, Peace and Conflict, and Relationships. Thank you

I'm assuming you're talking about GCSE. Whilst I am not taking RE short course, I have the gcse RE ocr exam this year. For my 15 markers I do:
Introduction
1st paragraph for/against view
2nd paragraph counter argument
3rd paragraph same view as 1st paragraph
Conclusion stating your view on the statement.
I use a structure called PEARL:
Point - state the view/point
Evidence - quote a source of authority
Analysis - explain this view/point
Range - different denominational views or impacts at a personal/societal level
Link - end it by linking back to the initial point

Sometimes evidence or range isn't possible but this is a good structure for longer answers. I hope this helps!
