Advice for an Architecture first year

Hello! Before I replace my ancient laptop, does anyone have any recommendations? All being well, I'll be a first year starting in September.

Don't purchase one until you know where you are going and what resources are available to you in the department. You can ask about this at an offer-holder day.

Hey there , I strongly agree with this. Save your money and keep it till your first week of school . Your lecturers will recommend the best textbooks and laptops that will help you for your course . In first year I bought a second laptop dedicated to my engineering software , only to find out I didn't need it and could've kept my MacBook and uses the resources available on campus to do the work.
