Hi, wanted to start a thread for applicants to the midwifery course at Edge Hill starting September 2025.
I'm Sarah, I'm 36 (nearly 37) with 3 children. Currently studying a Access course at collage in the evening.
Looking forward to meeting others hoping to start Edge Hill this year

hows your application process going so far?It’s going good! I only applied last week. I’m 25 and I already graduated with a degree in business with marketing in 2023 but I knew I always wanted to do midwifery! So here I am🫣😅 How about you? Are you finding the process okaii?

yeh im applied back in novemeber. had 2 interviews and 1 more next month. got 2 conditional offers

Oh that’s so exciting!! Yes I’ve got 2 interviews booked already which I’m hoping is a good sign😅✨

I received my offer to Edge Hill today. I am still awaiting decisions for two other places so it's not a definite yes for Edge Hill yet but I'm very excited to be getting the opportunity to study!
I'm 37 with four children so it's a scary prospect starting a degree, but I feel like the a access course has been a good starting block back into education!

yes the access course has been good, good preparation for the rest of the family as well

Hi 👋🏻 I’m Gemma 36 with one child. I’ve also applied here and I’ve got my interview on Thursday 😬 I absolutely love there is other people my age that have applied as well, I was a bit apprehensive potentially being a mature student. Could I ask how long is the time between interview and offer? I’ve applied to other universities as well but edgehill is my top choice 👍🏻

when i had mine they said 10 days but i heard in 3. but i also know some people have been told they will find out in april !!! 🤞 for you good luck.

I had mine late Wed last week and found out Monday.
My top choice is Uclan because of distance, but tbh I'll happily travel if needed because its something I've always wanted to do 😊

Had interveiws for edge hill and uclan, got one for salford in feb. didnt get in to liverpool, not heard from manchester
