Hi!!!

I had an interview with the year for Mpharm (with Preparatory year) literally on Wednesday. I received an offer on Thursday and I just accepted the offer yesterday.

The first part of the interview asks more general questions that are typical of any type of interview, as follows:

Why pharmacy

What interests you in pharmacy

Why UEA

Regarding career prospects

The second part of the interview were a couple of scenario questions.

I won't go into specifics because it breaks the rules of TSR, and UEA tell you on the email to not tell others as it makes the process unfair. However I'll say this:

There should only be 2 (from my experience there was only 2 questions) questions asked, they will be scenarios that are used to gauge kind of person you are, as well as your ethics and morals.

In my experience, they weren't over difficult questions but they definitely put you on the spot a bit and can be nerve wracking. I work in a pharmacy (have done for the past year) and still was worried about the answers I gave!

Anyways, don't fret too much. I recall reading somewhere that your answers are not entirely the judge of whether you get an offer or not, but rather if you try to answer them in a genuine way, as well based upon how you cope under pressure.

Oh also, I wouldn't worry that much about the clothes you wear as long as they're not offensive. It's not an interview where you'll be judged on your fashion sense, but do try to look casual and tidy. I'd suggest a shirt or a plain tshirt :smile:

Sorry I typed out a massive reply but TSR have taken it down by the looks of it. I didn't go that much into detail but ig they don't want me to give you an idea of what to expect. How did it go anyway? Fingers crossed it went well?

I didn't prepare, ik it's cliche but I wanted to be my authentic self. Plus I was at work at the time so had to exit the dispensary and find a quiet room to use lol
