Did you do a direct TC or had a Vac scheme? What was your degree average? Was it >65%? Did you do any interesting ECs or were you the head of the Law Society at your uni? How did you prepare for ACs and did you get any practice interviews? Did you get situational judgement questions and what approach worked best when answering those questions? Especially scenarios were you deal with a client or someone making a mistake.

did a vac scheme then got the TC. still at uni but it currently 67% I believe it may be 66% but yes it would either 65% or above. For Preperation for the ACs I used the Commercial Law Academy and online resources concerning the questions I may have been asked. for the SJTs yes we had numerous of those, again its just repitition using online resources and for my firm theres a framework we can base our answers off. Honestly with online tests its also hit or miss, so its difficult to answer that question and my memory isnt the best on those tests. I didn't regulary attend any societies other than the law society occasionaly. What do Ecs refer to sorry? if its experience just open days, some first year schemes, volunteering at charities and thats it really.

Yeah, that makes sense you had strong marks, I know from a source at A&O that firms have a secret 65% cutoff. I did well in my first year(66%) and managed to get ACs with Freshfields and Hogan Lovells. Unfortunately, I was ill-prepared for both. Congrats on the TC, it's good to have that peace of mind before finishing uni as opposed to scrambling to find a paralegal position or wondering if you'll ever get one. It's brutally competitive these days.
