Should I resit GCSE Maths and Redo y12

Currently I am doing 3 BTEC's BTEC Business, BTEC IT and BTEC Health and social. My friends told me if I retook GCSE maths and got a 7 I can do Y12 again and do A level Computer Science, A level Maths and A level business. I also am currently doing Core maths but I want to study computer science at university. I may take a foundation year but my friends said I could struggle since they don't teach maths? and apparently they said UCAS points dont matter as much which I was relying on :C

What universities have you been thinking in applying to study Computer Science?

Any really my mum suggested doing business at university and it seems a lot more easier to get into so I may go do that business w foundation year I am not too sure

Don’t do Business Studies. Absolutely loads of people do this degree so the employment market is oversaturated with job applicants with this qualification so it’s really hard to get a job once you graduate. Computer Science and Data Science are the qualifications where you can develop skills that employers really want and where there is a shortage.

If you really want to do a computer science subject there is options available, for example ARU. So it is worth looking.
