Personal statement for second year of uni

The deadline for ucas is coming up and I still can't figure out what to write about for uni. I'm doing psychology right now in the open university and I want to go to heriot-watt for second year to continue it but i've no idea what to write for this personal statement. Can anyone give some advice? I'm clueless

Answer these four questions:

Why do you want to study psychology?
What topics or work in your current studies have you particularly enjoyed? Give details.
What topics around psychology have you looked into in your free time (podcasts, lectures, books etc)? Give details
What are you looking forward to studying in more detail?

Hi!

For your personal statement to Heriot-Watt University, it's important to provide background information about yourself, your interests, and your reasons for choosing the psychology programme at Heriot-Watt. Approximately 60% of your statement should focus on the programme itself and why you want to study it, demonstrating your understanding of what the degree entails. You could also link the course to your future career aspirations. The remaining 40% of your statement should highlight the skills and abilities you've gained from interests outside of academic work, such as part-time employment, voluntary work, sports, or music activities. Additionally, mention any achievements, like the Duke of Edinburgh award or being a school prefect.

Hopefully this helps!
