Loneliness

I have no-one in my life.

No family or friends.

There is just me and I live by myself.

I do not like being ignored and when someone says they will do something for me and then it does not happen.

A tad annoying and it does not do your mental health any good.

Where can i meet people and make friends?

You need to go to find contact with people.

Number 1 place is the gym.

Other places include the pub, work or clubs of some description. I am not particularly interested in sport and in truth I maintain very few friends and never have had many of them in the first place.

If you can, try to associate yourself with a few friends of the opposite sex. You'll get noticed by people eventually.

Sorry to hear you’re feeling like that :frown: like someone else said, going to the gym could be a good way to meet people. Exercising is a brilliant mental tonic; it improves your mental and physical health and also self confidence. You could volunteer, e.g. at a local charity shop (could be as little as a couple of hours a week) - it’s a great way to be part of a tight-knit team, but you’ll also get chatting to customers and get to know the regulars. Or you could do volunteering centred around animals? If you have a dog, you could meet people on dog walks (you said you like walking). What about doing d of e (or something similar) with strangers? (You can do d of e until the age of 25 I believe!) Maybe try going to a meet-up thing where nobody knows each other?
Hope this helps… everything will be okay, you’ve got this
