what is the uea nightlife like

It's good. It has the best nightlife in the East Anglia region.

The uni has its own place for clubbing, where they also host concerts from bands. There is usually an event going on every other day, so it gets busy.

If the uni doesn't cater towards your tastes, Norwich is pretty good for what it is. Prince of Wales Road is typically where you find most of the life in the city at night. There is one major night club and a handful of smaller clubs along the road.
Then you have the endless pub crawls. I personally not a fan of this because it's a 2 hour trek from the campus into the city centre, typically uphill (definitely not fun during the cold season). If you can't walk in a straight line in the middle of the night, you will struggle to get into town. And there are endless pubs to visit; it's like at least one every 15 minute walk.
In terms of restaurants, it's good for what it is. It's not as varied as London, but it's probably is one of the best locations in the East Anglia region (without the London prices).
Norwich has this town like feel whilst being a city. It's a place that I would consider bringing up a family in if I wanted to live in East Anglia.

There are things about Norwich that bugs me, but nightlife isn't one of them.

Tweaked thread title as it doesn’t really have anything to do with UCAS.
