About to turn 18 in march and I don't have my license or have a job yet and i feel very upset cause I don't have anything going yet .
By college do you mean university? As college (16-19 years old) education is mostly free in the UK.

I mean I would say that it depends. If it was me I would have (assuming that I actually wanted to go to university) would have used the money for university related costs, then saved up money after university for a house deposit.

But I’m from England however (so student loans don’t work the same way, having a car isn’t as necessary as it often is in North America in general etc).

Unless you can buy outright, how are you going to get a mortgage with no income? Why do you want accommodation and not further education?

A lot of people don't have a driving licence or job at 18; I certainly didn't, and went to uni because the role I wanted required a degree.
