Do our notes for wjec crim unit 3 Crime Scene to courtroom get plagiarism checked?

Basically do I need to rewrite all the information to put in my notes or can i copy it directly off my teachers powerpoints?

Do you need to submit the notes to the exam board? If yes, I would imagine it would have to be in your own words but if it is just for you then no.

You need to write it in your own words. Copying from your teachers powerpoints is plagiarism.

As someone who did the CA and got an A* overall, make sure you use the powerpoints as a prompt and write the notes up in bullet points which you can easily use in the CA. If you copy from the Powerpoints chances are your notes will be similar to other peoples' notes, in your class and the wider cohort.

You should be doing your own independent research too. That's what got me such a good grade tbh and looking up loads of cases that were relevant to each assessment criteria.

How did you structure your notes for Unit 3? As I am in the process of typing mine up now, but I have been told by my teacher that they cannot be too structured.
