BAE degree apprenticeship 2025 - Samlesbury & Warton

This forum is for people who have applied for the 2025 BAE degree apprenticeship Salesbury Warton, and are considering moving away from home for whatever reason. I'm a current BAE Aero Apprentice and I'm happy to answer any general accommodation enquiries, as I moved away from home last year for the apprenticeship.

The second point is I'm looking for someone to house share with starting this year when the new apprenticeships begin , so if anyone is interested let me know either under this post or via private message and we can discuss in more detail.

Hi, can you give any tips for the live interview? Anything that you know they look out for? Thanks.

I can’t give out any of the questions for obvious reasons, but here’s some general advice, research the company, and have a look at recent projects using publicly available information, think of examples of times when you’ve shown your positive characteristics so you can use the star method of answering questions. Just don’t try and over analyse the interview, the more natural it feels the better, and present yourself as interesting with a broad range of hobbies etc.

Hey! I’m currently applying to the Software Engineering course and I’m so glad I’ve found someone who’s at the same place!! I would love to house share, but unfortunately this is the only apprenticeship that actually allows me to stay at home while working 😅. I’m just wondering, this is absolutely my first choice after college, and I’m getting worried that I’ve not got to the second round of interviews because I haven’t had an email yet, and I know some people (doing project management) have. Are you aware of when theyre advancing people and when the interview dates are? Any information helps, and hopefully we may cross paths one day!! 😁😁

Don’t stress about incoming emails, the whole process is quite lengthy and they’ll be getting through all the applications. A bunch will be cut because of basic things like incorrect education and factors that would automatically discount the applications. Also the different schemes will be running at different rates because of numbers and different processes of interviewing etc. Usually specific schemes will come out around the same time. Hopefully this helps, and good luck.

I've just seen this when preparing for my interview in the upcoming week.

Once I hear back I could potentially be looking for a house share etc, so will keep you posted.

It's also helpful to note your comments and tips for the interview, I've had a few interviews before (a lot for the current job I'm in now) - however it still gets your nerves going haha. Anyway all the best and thanks for the tips.

Best of luck, just be confident in your own skills, it doesn’t come natural but you have to try and sell yourself, highlight diversity in activities you partake in etc etc, and make sure you have those behavioural examples.

I tend to avoid giving out information like that because it’s not given out by the company, I can tell you the scheme is very competitive, but don’t let that worry or discourage you, if your meant for the role you will find a way to get there even if that means reapplying 2 years in a row

Had my interview recently for the EDAS, the interviewer mentioned that the interviews should be done by next Friday. Then they’ll ring offer holders up quite quickly after that

Hi, how long did you get from when they rang you to when your interview was.
