Funding Tuition fee and maintainance loan

I am interested in studying BSc (Hons) Counselling and Psychotherapy (Humanistic Approaches) with University of Derby. I am looking at a part time option. I already have the following qualifications.

CertHE in counselling
CertHE in Psychology

Both those were self funded and part time courses. My question is would I get a tuition fee loan to cover the whole degree, and would I get a maintainance loan? I am also disabled.

Yes the UCAS code is C844 Counselling and Psychotherapy (Humanistic approaches).

To be honest I am considering for next year 2026. I understand things might change but I just wanted to get an idea re funding.

Because I alreday studied the 2 CertHE would I also get a maintenaince loan for the BSc?

Hi there,

The course as one our part time exception courses, which means we don't take your previous study into account. You should be able to apply for full finance Tuition Fees and Maintenance Loan.

Apply when applications open for this year in due course and we can then confirm for definite.
