Queens Belfast !

Hiya !!!!

I’ve received an offer for Law M100 from queens! And I’m definitely looking towards putting it as my firm as I absolutely adored the open day, but I just wanted to know some opinions on queens? + plus some answers to questions I’ve been thinking about , ANY help would be really appreciated <3

- I wouldn’t be able to afford to go home all the time ( Welsh student) so is it true everyone leaves on weekends?
- which accommodation would be best for 1st years?
- I have a very thick welsh accent and do speak welsh 1st language so it’s not something I can hide , and last time I came over a local made a remark about “not liking the welsh” is this a general thing I need to be aware of?
- overall your experience at queens <3

Thankyou !!!)

Elms or BT1/BT2 all good. Elms is further from city centre in South Belfast. Others are more city living.
The locals do go home and some stick around with their former school friends. But this is more in first year. There are plenty of other GB students and internationals. And don't worry about your accent or being Welsh..it really is welcoming place..In fact being Celt background you will fit in well with the Irish.
