Is LONDON PROFESSIONAL TRAINING COLLEGE Genuine?

Please confirm if anyone has taken GCSE/A level exams with LONDON PROFESSIONAL TRAINING COLLEGE? Is it a genuine exam centre recognized and authorised by the exam boards such as AQA, EDEXCEL & OCR? On companies house, it says it's a single person Ltd company registered in 2020. Another Companies house record also reveal that it was dissolved in 2010 when it was being run by people of Indian origin.

On their website it says that they are an authorised exam centre, the same as on UCAS. I'm sitting one A level there in the summer, and I have completed mock exams there - still waiting for the results which is a bit meh (sat the exams in early December).

It is quite a small building, but there are positive reviews on Google maps. Only reason I've chosen this exam centre is because it's the closest to me. Probably wouldn't be my first option, but so far I'd say they're legit.

The account you've replied to is my old account. I did get my predicted grades back from them, a week before the UCAS deadline. They've actually called me today regarding the A level exams? Not sure what they want, haven't been able to get through to them. I believe the date to apply to sit the A level exams there is coming up soon, before incurring late fees so I was wondering if you've decided anything yet?

Hi, I didn't end up requiring the UCAS reference from them as I got someone else to do it. To be honest, the predicted grades were sent quite late (I think a few days before the UCAS deadline) which was a tiny bit stressful, but I obviously did receive them in the end.

As for the exams; I sat one subject here, and thus three exams. I also had extra time - which was sorted fairly well. I think that some of the invigilators didn't really know what they were doing generally, while others were a bit better - but none of that really impacted me.

Exam room could honestly get a little bit noisy at times due to the location (close to the railway, I believe). Also, just general noise in the exam room - people leaving, shuffling, talking as they left etc. but you'd find this at any exam centre. During paper 3, there was someone ripping paper for a display or something?? ☠️☠️☠️☠️. Idk what that was about, but paper 3 was definitely the loudest paper. Overall though, the noise wasn't that bad but I think invigilators definitely could've been more strict about ensuring the noise level was kept at a minimum.

Despite the noise, sitting exams there was a fairly smooth and efficient experience and it's close to Hammersmith/ white city etc. So a good location if you live in the area. I mainly chose this centre as it was like 15-20 mins from my house, whereas other exam centres were really far.

Hi, for my Biology paper they gave me the 2024 AS paper 1 and then for my Sociology they gave me the 2023 AS paper 1 so it'll either be 2024 or 2025 for you

Hi, has anyone actually applied to UCAS through them before?
