UCL HPE Offers 2025 – Has Anyone Heard Back Yet?

Hi everyone,

Has anyone received offers yet for UCL’s History, Politics, and Economics (HPE) course for 2025 entry? I’m feeling a bit anxious and was hoping to hear from others who have applied. I applied on the 6th of November and got offers pretty soon after, whereas with UCL nothing yet.

Here’s a bit about me:
- Predicted grades: AAB
- I’ve completed an EPQ as part of my application.
- My personal statement is heavily focused on Eastern Europe and my strong interest in the region.
- I’ve already received offers from QMUL (Politics and Economics), Southampton, and Surrey for the same course, which has been reassuring.

Do you think I have a good chance of securing an offer from UCL? Any insights into response times or how UCL views predicted grades like mine would be really helpful.

Thanks so much for your help! 😊

Don’t worry, I’ve also applied for the same course and uni and haven’t heard anything back! I have an older sibling who went through the same process luckily and I found out that universities like UCL typically respond back in late feb/march time so don’t expect anything for now!

Our son got also an offer on February 7th. He has British and German citizenship (The offer letter states that the fee status - international or UK - will be decided upon completion of the questionnaire).

Congrats! Did they say which subject the A has to be in? Do you think you'll accept?

Hey guys, well done for receiving offers! Hope A-levels 25' went well for you.

I was wondering if anyone has gotten in with 3 A*s, no EPQ and 1 essay competition. Also, for those who received offers, how much of your PS was focused on Eastern Europe? Right now my politics section is mostly American/global politics and the History is based on E. Europe and Russia! 😊
