Journey after secondary

I want to work in dentistry and don't know whether to do an apprenticeship, a levels or applied science. I feel as though apprenticeship is the best suited for me as I'm more of an on the job kinda person instead of full time studies. I dont feel as I will do as good in a levels but I also believe a levels is the safest option for the future.Someone please let me know what jobs I can do with a dentistry apprenticeship in college and whether I can get into uni with it or not

What sort of 'work in Dentistry'?
As a Dentist, as a dental nurse, as a dental hygienist, as a dental technician ....?
Each will have a different training/entry pathway - and require different school qualifications.
