I attended the interview for laet yesterday (18/09) and idk how well it went. I kinda stuttered at the start but I went overall it went ok. I really want to get in but idk what my chances are of getting in since my predicted grades are also just alright (998888777777). So how likely am I to get in? +im taking stem subjects which apparently makes it harder to be accepted in due to its competitiveness

I also sat my interview yesterday and while I felt mine personally went well, others on here have said it could’ve gone better so don’t feel too bogged down.

As for your grades, the average of your top 8 is 8.0. If you achieve that in your real thing or higher, you will be part of the first group on enrolment. So your grades appear fine.

Your predicted grades are more than fine.
Trust me, there’s people who applied and got in with lower grades.
Don’t worry about the stem subjects thing, the only thing that’s important is being early on enrolment day because the classes fill up quickly. My friend was late on enrolment day, and had to enrol into different subjects and hope that people would drop out once the school year started so that she could switch in. That’s like, the worst case scenario though.
As for your interview, I’m sure it went well. I was sick on the day of mine and found myself stuttering throughout and pausing to think, but as long as you collected yourself, it’s fine.
The elimination process on alignment consultations isn’t harsh, it’s enrolment day, so don’t stress, and just revise for your GCSEs ◡̈
Which by the way, I wasn’t that happy with my GCSE grades, and I still got in, so just keep your cool and everything will work out. Don’t stress too much like I did and just focus on your exams.

On enrolment day, they filter you into groups based on your average GCSE grades.
People with extenuating circumstances (FSM, SEN, etc.) and grades 8.0+ will be group 1. They come in the earliest (essentially they have priority in enrolment because it’s first come first serve)
Group 2, 7.75+
Group 3 7.50+
Group 4 anyone else who met the grade requirements.
As the group number goes down the time they come in on enrolment day gets later.

Take it with a grain of salt, but, essentially yes.
As long as the enrolment process is the same this year, which I don’t know if it will be.
This is what was said in the email we got

The point of the grouping was to prioritise people from the priority list and people with the highest grades, so just in case, the people with the lowest grades would not get in, in the case of oversubscription.

Yes sadly, but as long as your predicted grades are realistic and achieved , then you should be fine. Don’t stress.

No. Most people average 9-10. A few reach 11 if they do Further maths. 12 is rarely seen however.

Hi all, I have applied to LAE Stratford but have not received any emails about interviews. I think I read somewhere that LAE Stratford might not conduct interviews. I think you all are talking about LAE Tottenham but if you do not mind, does anyone know if my situation is normal? Thank you
