Equivalent to IGCSE and Alevel

What can I do instead of them? Is it possible to find a certificate stronger than it that will admit me into good universities and give me a good job?

It depends what country you're from but I don't think there's anything stronger than a levels except a degree. International Baccalaureate is a common alternative to a levels but you'll have to see if there are any schools in you're area that teach it probably (unless you're self studying?).
In terms of IGCSE you should be doing some type of qualification at school at the age you take these- might need a bit more context to help?
