What should I do?

This morning it finally hit my dad that my choices mean I’m royally f****d. (I’m exaggerating.)

Intially I opted to do Chem, Bio and Psych at a-level, but last summer i didn’t receive the grades required to take chem and bio, a psychology was full. So I take a humanities route, as I did so much better in those subjects, and i enjoyed my english lessons leading up to GCSEs, so I thought it’d wouldn’t be that bad. So I pick English Lit and English Lang, and because that wasn’t respectable and challenging I was egged into Comp sci.

Now anything english related in terms of uni courses are basically off bounds as again its not respectable enough or worth three years. And as I didn’t do comp sci in gcses, my current performance isn’t the best. Also I’m not sure if I could do it at uni (I’ve seen that maths is a required course to take comp sci at uni.)

I’ve been thinking of doing something like Fashion tech (which is still fairly new). Its like mixing AI with fashion idk.

But please lmk what are so beneficial courses and pathways I can take with my current situation.

Thanks

English is a very respectable degree subject and can open paths to a wide variety of careers, from law to publishing to journalism to more or less anything not STEMmy. I suggest that you study what you wish to study, not what your parents want.
