hi guys does anyone know what kind of organic chem questiond woukd be asked in a mpharm bath interview - apparently there are organic chemistry q Thank uu
Hiya! I did my interview 4 years ago now but it sounds like the structure is similar. There are 3 sections: a generic interview, pharmaceutical calculations, and a situational judgement test.
In the main interview section, they asked about things like motivation for studying both pharmacy and pharmacy at Bath, and some more personal questions like what your hobbies are and any challenges you’ve encountered in your education.
The pharmaceutical calculations might be what you’re thinking about in terms of the chemistry question, as they can be related to chemistry. However, I wouldn’t worry too much about this, it wasn’t any harder than GCSE maths or A Level chemistry and if you get them wrong it normally isn’t a dealbreaker for the interview. Instead, they just offer extra maths classes when you start on the course.
Lastly, there is the situational judgement test, in which you are given a pharmacy-related situation and are expected to explain how you would approach it. In this they are testing your understanding of NHS values, and how you would apply them in different situations.
I hope that cleared up what your interview might look like. Let me know if you have any questions 😊 Lauren, University of Bath.
Hi, are you a home or international applicant? I've just come across the news that Bath is only accepting international students for this years cohort for pharmacy on their website.

What they mean is that NOW they are only accepting International applications - ie .after the Jan deadline.
(Bath does this every year - and every year it confuses everyone. You'd think they'd learn.)
