soas uni

Hello, I'm applying for Law and saw for soas uni there are certain circumstances where you would be required to take the LNAT. I emailed asking but in case I don't get an email back in time as the deadline is very soon and I am aiming to submit my application today, I am resitting my A-level exams this year - would this require me to take the LNAT? If anyone has any idea, I would greatly appreciate it, thank you.
Hi there,

I hope you are well.

No, you don't need to sit the LNAT. At SOAS, you do not need to sit the LNAT if you are studying A-level or IB. The LNAT is only required for other qualifications.

So, no need to worry about it. Good luck with your application!

Hi sorry how much does the grade get offered if you take the LNAT, I believe last year when the entry req was AAA it went down to ABB this year as it is AAB for an offer will the LNAT lower it to BBB?

The LNAT is not required for applicants sitting A-Levels who apply to Law at SOAS and does not impact the offer made to students. If you are taking the LNAT as part of an application to another university and share your result with us, a strong result can still help demonstrate your aptitude and contribute to a strong overall applicant picture.
