Using the equatorial diameter, how large is Mercury compared to Earth?

Can anybody help me with this

Well, the question is under-specified. Possibly, what is being asked is to use the equatorial diameter to work out the volume of each planet and present the results as a ratio. This would be a volume comparison rather than a mass ratio as the mean density of mercury would not be the same as that of earth.

Mercury has a diameter of 3,032 miles (4,879 km) making it a little more than one third the size of Earth.
