Hi there!

Congrats on your offers from City and ULaw, that’s such an exciting position to be in! I know how tricky it can be to make this kind of decision, so I’m happy to share my perspective as a student at ULaw.

ULaw really stood out to me when I was choosing where to study because it’s completely focused on law and has such a strong career-driven approach. The smaller class sizes here mean you get more one-to-one time with tutors, who are all super supportive and have actual legal experience. I’ve found that the teaching style is very practical, which helps so much when it comes to understanding how the law works in real-life situations.

The careers service is another huge plus. They’re so hands-on with helping you find opportunities, whether that’s through pro bono work, internships, or guidance with applications for training contracts or pupillage. They really go the extra mile to make sure you’re ready for life after uni.

The vibe on campus is great too, there’s a really supportive community, and the facilities are modern and geared toward making studying easier. And if you’re looking for flexibility, the option to study online or blend online and campus learning is super convenient.

City is also a great university, but if you’re looking for somewhere that’s completely focused on law and will give you that extra practical edge, ULaw might be the better fit. It’s really about what environment you think will help you thrive.

Good luck with your decision! If you choose ULaw, I’m sure you’ll love it here as much as I do.
