Honestly, yes. I fully believe you can get up to two grades higher in each subject from now. What I would absolutely advise though is to make sure you rest!!! Do not burn yourself out or the opposite will happen because your brain and body will be exhausted- been there myself. Try and do little bits often. Active recall is key, use flashcards or interactive sites like Seneca to actively recall knowledge. It’s a bit of a memory game from now but essentially you have two key things to focus on:

1- CONTENT- make sure you use active recall, know concepts, have some contemporary examples for subjects that require it e.g. geog or business.
2- EXAM SKILLS- essay plans, practise questions, timed practise etc.

Hope this helps.

Hey @asukaxi,

If you're currently getting 6s and 7s, it's definitely possible to bump those grades up to 8s and 9s with some more revision. I'd recommend creating a revision timetable. Start off slow - maybe half an hour to an hour of revision on school nights if you can manage it in your schedule, and three or four hours at the weekend. You can then increase these amounts as you get closer to exam time.

Eventually, you should reach the end of the GCSE syllabus in most of your subjects and be given dedicated time for revision. If your school offers study leave closer to exam time, this will be a key revision period; if they don't, by the time exams roll around you should have gaps in between them to try and fit in as much content as possible.

I know lots of students at my school who were performing around a grade 5-6 at this stage who eventually achieved a 7-8. It's all about making the best use of the time you have, not worrying about how you might not have enough. 🙂

Best of luck!
Eve (Kingston Rep).
