Mindmaps - I found these best for learning about case studies, and for memorising specific facts, key dates and figures about it. I used to do memory exercises where I would write a neat mind map, turn it over and from memory write down as much as I could remember - and repeat this till I could remember everything important.
•
Flashcards - These are best for key terms and definitions. If you’re unable to make physical cards, Quizlet’s (https://quizlet.com/) a good online substitute.
•
Flow maps/diagrams - For learning about processes and the formation of certain features, such as for coasts: arches, stacks and stumps.
•
Using revision websites - Tutor2U (https://www.tutor2u.net/geography) and Physics and Maths Tutor (https://www.physicsandmathstutor.com/geography-revision/a-level-edexcel/) are my favourites. They have past papers and questions, as well as revision notes on certain topics you might be struggling with. Most of this is for free except Tutor2U has a few paid options along with free resources.
