Insurance accommodation

I’m in the stage of making my firm and insurance universities. But all of them offering accommodation if they’re the firm choice. So is it certainly no accommodation if it’s my insurance university ( UEA ) ? Please advise me on this 😩 Tia

If you end up going to your insurance you'll only be able to apply for accommodation after results day, but there will likely be places still available from people who didn't get in etc. There may just be less choice in the type of room.

Congratulations on receiving all your offers!

It’s great to hear you are in the stage of confirming universities. In terms of accommodation, I wouldn’t worry about not being offered accommodation for your insurance choice of UEA. A lot can happen in between results day, meaning accommodation can become available if you do end up at UEA.

I came through clearing, after rejecting my firm choice- meaning risking my accommodation. However, after receiving my place at UEA, I was still able to apply for accommodation and was eventually offered a en-suite room in Colman House (my top choice).

There are also lots of accommodation outside of our campus, in city central or in our village. Rest assured there will be other students who will in the same position as you, meaning you can always reach out on facebook to secure something near by.

Keep working hard ! Try not to worry too much, I know this can be hard but rest assured everything will work out. 😊
