Is "existed" a typo of "exited", meaning that you've been withdrawn from the course?

When you say "one unit i didn't take", could you explain what you mean by "unit"? Normally a given level (year) at uni is divided into modules where each modules is worth a certain number of credits, totalling 120 (sometimes 60) each year. Each module consists of lectures, seminars, practicals etc. plus one or more assessments. So when you say there was 'one unit i didn't take", do you mean that you didn't attend any of the teaching elements, and didn't take any if the assessments? Or just that you missed the assessments?

Normally, if you miss a module's assessments because you're ill, you simply sit them later - typically over the summer. Has that opportunity not been extended to you?

What was the official reason for you being withdrawn from the course (if that's what "I have existed from uni" means)?
