Newcastle Partners

Hello regarding the newcastle summer school (PASS) what is the order of routine?
Do I apply for pass and attend pass at the end of year 12? Then I apply for lower offer in year 13?
Hi @Sher Limbu !

You apply for PARTNERS in year 13 (your final year of sixth form / college) in line with your UCAS application. The deadline is typically the same as the UCAS deadline too ☺️.

1.We advise that you do your UCAS first - there will be further details box, pop a 'p' in here.

2.Then, afterwards you can submit your PARTNERS application - this is a quick form you can find on or website when applications open again. Here, you can tick which eligibility criteria you meet and you leave a contact from your school (a teacher who will confirm you meet the criteria).

3.The rest of the work is on our end! We will match your PARTNERS application with your UCAS application and get back to you with our offer.

Our applications usually open in September / October, but as I said it is best to do your UCAS application first as this takes a bit more time! You will attend the PASS summer school for 5 days in the summer between Year 13 and University 🤩

I hope this all makes sense but, if you have any other questions, ask away! I am a former PARTNERS student and I loved it. Our team are also available via email ([email protected]). 🤗

Thanks 💫

With regards to dentistry; Am I correct in saying that PARTNERS allows for both a lower grade requirement and also a lower ucat requirement?
Thanks

Hello!

We cannot guarantee that the PARTNERS offer will reduce the UCAT thresholds. In previous years it has done, but it is dependent on the UCAT scores for each academic year! I would advise keeping an eye out on our Dentistry Admissions page (Applying to Dental School | Newcastle University) as they will post up-to-date information here regarding the UCAT scores.

Thanks 💫

How do I make Newcastle my firm choice? I will be attending the partners summer school so I know I need to make Newcastle my firm choice. I’ve applied for 5 universities and heard back from 4 of them. Do I have to wait until I hear back from all applications first before the UCAS hub will let me make a firm choice?

Hi @Leesahlou

Sorry I missed this - you can make your firm and insurance choice once you have received all of your offers!

Thanks! 💫
