is it too late?

Hi ! I'm currently in y13 with my last set of mock exams coming up. atm, i'm working at a low D (horrible i know) but i really need atleast a C for my 1st choice uni. I'm not too stressed about getting the C in these mocks, but i need some advice on how to jump to that grade for the real thing!

i'm doing past papers for amount of substance, as that's the topic i lose the most marks. does anyone have any tips for nailing the maths side? and keeping on top of all the other topics?

Hi @kkyra

For the maths side, I would recommend continuing to answer as many questions as you can. Make sure you look at the mark schemes so that the method you are using matches the mark scheme. This should help you to get some marks for your calculations even if you do not get the correct answer.

For other topics, I used to like making mindmaps with all of the information that I needed to know on. I would then be able to refer back to these and would make them again without looking to test what I could remember. It is also important to do lots of exam questions for all of the topic areas.

Hope that helps!
