Does anyone have any tips for timing on the simplex algorithm. I’m really slow and i don’t have a graphing calculator. should i get one

Personally, I think it comes down to practice. I am doing the OCR FM discrete course - and the pupils at my school all aren't using graphical calculators. It isnt worth the £100+ just for one small part of the exam (with the entire discrete paper making up 25%, and this just being a small part of that).

Maybe try using colours/crossing outs/markings/or improve mental math speed.

With more practice and worksheets - you should get the hang of it!!

you honestly dont need the graphing calculator. Most people in our class got better at the question by doing past papers

I don't find a graphical calculator much help with discrete content. I think the best thing for you to do is practice as many questions as you can
