Mock grades gcses

last time all 9s 2 8s this time all 9s 1 8

am I happy?no
they reuse every past paper question
literally except for english spanish maths and re the other grades rnt genuine.

scraped a 9 in bio and geo even tho I've seen and done every single question on those papers- surely I shouldn't yk
Someone got full marks in biology.

I'm not trying to flex or show off my mock scores I'm scared af. Give me a science past paper I will fail it. I cannot apply my knowledge even in the simplest of scenarios idk how I've done every possible past paper question even looked at old spec and other exam boards so even if I try I cannot practise because it's me tryna remeber Mark schemes.

I'm not confident for my real exam.

Also spanish I got an 8 both times. Writing 57/60 speaking 56/60 reading 49/60 listening 30/50
Clearly listening and reading brought me down so I'll do past papers etc and make sure ik all the vicab.

but there's so much more content we haven't done that wasn't on my mocks and that's the actual hard stuff not the 'what's an isotope' stuff.

idk what to do I made a 10week revision plan w what I should do every week but I'm struggling on week 1 icba I feel scared I feel so flipping scared

thats so real!! your bio and language is rlly impressive tho those are my worsts. (how are you revising for listening? I got like 26/50 on that and it brought my grade down to an 8 :frown: )

with week 1, im looking into exactly what I got wrong in my mocks and brushing up to speed with those. I have the same problem for motivation, so I put on a 45 min timer on my phone so that I'm not distracted, then I take longer breaks afterward.

also this may sound odd but train yourself to like studying? my friend eats something she likes/drinks something nice whenever studying so that she associates studying with happiness. Idk if it works for everyone but shes got all 9s so maybe it has some merit to it? varies person to person but it might help you.

after that, if you're worried that you're behind, I'd say teach yourself the content that you haven't done in class so that you're not dependant on your teacher. thats what Im doing in rs rn (we've got 3 whole topics and 15 lessons until the exam...)

cool that's a good analogy- positive reinforcement for studying. hm I don't rly like food but I may reward myself with like relaxation time or reading time
