molecular bioengineering imperial

I've applied to molecular bioengineering at imperial for 2025, with 4A* 1A predicted (A* achieved in maths) and 10 9/A* in GCSEs
My personal statement is biology based, but I saw someone online who got an offer with a maths based personal statement so I'm assuming that it is not a problem
I applied back in October, but haven't heard back yet, does anyone have any idea when I'll hear back?
Also, I realised that I prefer biomedical engineering over molecular bioengineering, will it be possible to transfer if I get an offer?
Thank you.

I think as long as your ps should have some connection to the course(talking about molecules etc.) you should be good. They are doing interviews in loads of rounds so don't worry I'm sure they have people to get to! The course website says you can transfer between both courses.

Do you think they'll ask abt chemistry as I've done maths, chem and phys as my a levels but i haven't mentioned chem related topics in my PS.

Also what type of technical qs would they ask in the interview?
I've scoured the interned but couldn't find much.

I went through their website and they said they will ask a maths question and then one on chem/physics
