What do you want to do after your a levels?
If you take any of these subjects for gcse, how are you finding them and what are your predicted grades like?
Are you clear on what each course involves? (Read the spec dont just assume you know ofc)

I take Media, English Lit and Classics and I love them all sm! I'd say it really depends on your exam boards and the set texts your school do. One thing for Classics is that it tends to be more content heavy than people think. I'd look at the specs and pick ones you think you'd enjoy the most - most A-Levels are hard so taking ones that actually interest you makes such a huge difference!

Hi, I'm currently in Year 12 studying for my A Levels and I do Law, Religious Studies (Religion, Philosophy & Ethics!) and History. I highly recommend that you pick RE because the content is extremely interesting especially the theories and ideas that you pick up during your studies, and i find that it's an engaging subject that anyone who enjoyed Gcse Re would like. You look at arguments for the existence of God, ways to determine an action as morally good, etc and the conversations in the classroom are really abstract and philosophical which is fun, as well as a good debate. You look at abortion, sexual ethics, the philosophy of the soul. It is academically challenging and requires plenty of thought but that's a given, you'd find that with any A Level. Maybe I'm just biased because I've always loved RE, but I really do think that you should choose the subject! It opens doors to new ways of thinking and you won't regret it. good luck
