CPR Questions

How easy/likely is it to get the reason for your cpr accepted when it’s mental health related?

my situation is, bad anxiety and depression, I have medication for physical symptoms caused by anxiety. I am also on the waiting list for talking therapies recommended by my GP.

Additionally, I am also diagnosed with dyslexia and dyspraxia with suspected ADHD (although this is undiagnosed officially).

I have struggled with uni (poor attendance and missing assignments) as a result of all of the above.

I am aware CPR are judged on a case by case basis. However, given my situation would I have a good chance of being accepted of not? Trying to judge wether it’s smart to plan for restarting uni next year, as if I didn’t get extra tuition funding from CPR I would not be able to restart.

Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Mental health is a fairly common reason for claiming CPR. Just compile as much evidence as you can from your GP, when you informed your course tutor, etc.

I haven’t yet spoken to my tutor, but have been in touch with the university wellbeing team. It if is beneficial I can also get in touch with my tutors.
