UCAS Help

Hey,
So I've received my offers for what applied to but got rejected from my first choice which was Audiology, but instead they gave me an offer for Bio Med. I've gotten offers from other universities for other courses that I applied to but I need to make a firm choice before June. If on results day I get the results I needed for Audiology, will I be able to go through clearing and hopefully get on the course and reject my firm choice? I know it's a bit confusing, any help would be appreciated!!
Thanks!!

Short answer, yes, if the course is available in clearing you can release yourself from any confirmed place.

If you are considering clearing at the uni that made you the alternate offer, it may be best to ask for feedback now, so you can understand whether they are likely to consider you at that stage.

You need to ask for feedback on why you were rejected for Audiology first.

Hello!!
I think it's because I don't have a B in Chemistry or Biology, but do you think it's better to email them and ask feedback? Also how would I ask for feedback and and what would I write in the email (I'm not great at writing emails 😭)
Thanks!

Yes, you may as well ask now, even if you suspect that you know the reason. that way you will be better prepared if it does appear in clearing. (And even if it doesn't you may as well call them on results day if you meet the typical offer).

For feedback, just a quick message to their undergrad admissions address:

Hello,

I recently received a decision on my application for COURSE X. Unfortunately I was not successful on this occasion, but so that I can consider my options going forward, could I ask for any feedback as to where my application perhaps fell short?

Many thanks,"
