UCLan veterinary medicine applications

I had an interview for vet med at UCLan on the 17th of December and still haven't heard anything back. They said students would usually hear back within 2-3 weeks but that there may be a slight delay because of christmas. It has been nearly 5 weeks now and nothing! Has anyone else not heard back yet? Should I chase it up? A girl I met on the day of the interview heard back nearly 2 weeks ago!

@astercat and @Imis because you were both early on in the interview dates it will take them longer to decide as they have to compare you to other interviews that are later. Think of it like a conveyer belt - exceptional candidates get an early offer and those that didn’t do well in interview have had a rejection. Everyone else is on the conveyer belt and gets pushed off either end as more and more interview scores are added to the conveyer belt. No news is good news.
