Business

Anyone know which business degree that doesn’t involve a lot of maths? It’s not my strongest point and I still want to study business but don’t know what I should do
Hello there!

If you’re interested in studying business but want to avoid a degree that heavily focuses on maths, there are plenty of options that emphasize practical business knowledge and skills rather than quantitative analysis. Many business degrees offer pathways or specializations that are less maths-intensive while still providing a strong foundation for a successful career.

Degrees such as Business Management, Marketing, or Human Resource Management are excellent options. These programs focus more on areas like leadership, communication, strategy, organizational behavior, and market analysis rather than advanced mathematical concepts.
For example, a Business Management degree emphasizes general business principles, entrepreneurship, and strategic decision-making, while Marketing focuses on consumer behavior, branding, and campaign management, which require creativity and analysis rather than heavy maths.

If you’re still interested in some aspects of finance but want to avoid a lot of maths, you could consider Business with Finance, where the mathematical content is often more manageable and supported by practical applications. Additionally, many universities, including Coventry University, provide academic support and resources to help students strengthen their quantitative skills if needed.

At Coventry University, programs like BA Business Management or BA Marketing are designed to offer practical, career-focused education without requiring a heavy emphasis on advanced maths. These courses also include opportunities for internships and placements, allowing you to gain hands-on experience in the business world.

Ultimately, choose a course that aligns with your strengths and interests while still providing the knowledge and skills you need for your career aspirations. A business degree can open doors to a wide range of opportunities, even if maths isn’t your strongest area.

I hope this helps!
Good luck!
