UCAS confusion

Hi, so basically.

I applied for university to do law at Newcastle University, got accepted and confirmed my place, this was for September 2024 entry. I ended up deferring the entry until September 2025. However, in the gap year I've decided I no longer want to go to Newcastle university or do law so I've decided to reapply, also for September 2025 but for history.

When I change it in the hub options, for example 'application for 2024 entry' it shows the law newcastle one, and for 'application for 2025 entry' it shows my history application.

The issue is that for my original application, it of course shows place confirmed for 'September 2025', I'm curious if this will cause issues when applying on my new application for 2025 entry. I have contacted Newcastle University to state that I will no longer be attending but there's been no update back and it has been a week. I have yet to submit my new application since I'm unsure if my original one will affect me in sending it off.
