fine art uni choice advice!!

i’m applying for fine art and i’m trying to find more uni choices but really stuck. so far i have two choices: newcastle and uni of leeds. i like both especially newcastle, the work produced is excellent and it has a great art history dept but it also has a more relaxed vibe which is kind of what i’m looking for. however both are very far away (i live close to london) and i don’t know if i can move that far away from home. i know there’s some great universities for fine art in london but i don’t think i want to study there. i’m looking for somewhere that pushes me but also isn’t really competitive (ik kinda a juxtaposition) and preferably isn’t in the middle of nowhere. if anyone has any suggestions i would really appreciate it, thanks :smile:

Reading?
WSA (Winchester but it’s part of Southampton uni)?

(UCA and Falmouth are in the middle of nowhere, NUA doesn’t have a very big/strong fine art course, and I would suggest Brighton but I have been hearing some very worrying whispers from staff there about the current management :frown:

Do you have any specific preferences for media that you would like to work in?
