Cardiff Sixth Form scholarship tests

I’m an International student and will taking the scholarship/entrance exams for year 12 entry soon and it would be really helpful if someone who had taken it before could give me some pointers on the topics or difficulty of the scholarship test eg IGCSE/A levels difficulty? And also the non verbal reasoning tests as I have no idea what it’s gonna be like. The subjects I’ll be taking are Additional Maths, maths, physics and chemistry.

Hi, I’m a current scholarship student at CSFC. I’d definitely say for your ‘normal’ papers focus on GCSE knowledge, then for your scholarship paper look at higher level GCSE stuff and basic AS level stuff. Be prepared to be confronted with some quite hard questions - but work your way through them and do your best

The verbal reasoning test is similar to an IQ test imo. There’s patterns, marks, language, etc… no real way to prepare - just give it a good go
